Health & Wellness

A healthy lifestyle is an important part of maintaining your grades, succeeding in your internship and growing at GW. We have plenty of resources to keep you healthy and active. Our Student Health Center offers confidential medical and mental health services, as well as health promotion and prevention services. You can exercise at our Lerner Health & Wellness Center, which includes fitness programs and facilities to meet most every athletic interest.

Want to get active outdoors? You’ll find athletic fields and tennis courts, a six-lane swimming pool and multiple green spaces on our Mount Vernon Campus.

Our Foggy Bottom Campus is just blocks away from the National Mall’s iconically beautiful running and walking routes and open lawns perfect for club sports like ultimate frisbee, softball and even cricket.
