Dan Test (Black Belt Examination) and Special Training with Sensei Masataka Mori

On Saturday, April 12, 2008, from 12:00 - 2:30 p.m., the JKA Karate Club of GWU will hold its first ever dan test (black belt examination) and special training with Sensei Masataka Mori, the Chief Instructor of the JKA, United States. The special training is open to anyone with previous shotokan experience. The fee for the special training is $25 for non-dojo members, $20 for dojo members if paid before March 8 and $25 for dojo members if paid after March 8 ($5 late fee). Please complete a registration form if you are interested in attending the special training. Registration for the dan test is now closed.

Tokaido Gis for Sale

Sensei Haramoto has Tokaido gis which he sells at a discount. He has a limited number of half sizes as well. The discounted prices are as follows:

• Current JKA Karate Club of GWU students (way to avoid shipping charges): Once you bring a check along with a completed order form, Sensei will bring your new Tokaido gi to the next practice. Please be sure to indicate if you plan on being absent from the next class so he doesn't go to the trouble of bringing your gi to that class.
