Faculty Profile

Joel Blit received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto in the area of International Economics.  He also holds an M.A.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, an M.B.A. from INSEAD, and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.  Dr. Blit has also worked as a business consultant to financial services firms in Asia, Australia, and North America.

Dr. Blit's current research examines multi-location firms as a medium for the geographic diffusion of knowledge.  He is also working on topics related to multinationals, international development, entrepreneurship, and intellectual property rights.
