Culture in Global Affairs
Culture in Global Affairs (CIGA) is a research and policy program in the Institute for Global and International Studies (IGIS) at the Elliott School of International Affairs. CIGA seeks to promote the recognition of culture and its policy relevance to global affairs. The concept of culture, especially as researched by cultural anthropologists but also by scholars in other fields, is important to policy formulation in many arenas including health, the environment, development, conflict resolution, and ethnic and minority issues.
