GW Alumna Named 2008 CNN Hero of the Year

Liz McCartney will receive $100,000 to continue her work rebuilding New Orleans and assisting Hurricane Katrina survivors. She was formally recognized for her efforts during a CNN telecast on Nov. 27. More
