"Gates: Sacred and Profane," Lydia Bodnar-Balahutrak

Artists' Quarter

Lydia Bodnar-Balahutrak, MFA '77, exhibited "Thresholds," a collection of her mixed media art, at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts in Spring, Texas. The installation of paintings, drawings, and assemblages made up a retrospective of her explorations of Ukraine's history and cultural identity.

Lyndsey Karr, BA '01, oversaw the creation and October release of The One, her latest multimedia performance-installation, produced in conjunction with New York City's Chocolate Factory Theater.

Tom Auger, BA '11, Vanessa Cancino, BA '11, Quentin Cantu, BA '10, Tony Fowler, BA '10, and Brian Zupruk, BA '09, formed a rock, soul, and hip-hop band, Level 7, and have recently started performing at local D.C. venues.
