Artists' Quarter

Sherry Zvares Sanabria, BA '59, will exhibit her paintings from January to May 2013 at the Cosmos Club in Washington, D.C. The exhibition will display both Ms. Sanabria's paintings and her husband, Robert Sanabria's, sculptures. On April 6, 2013, she will deliver a talk at the Cosmos Club entitled "My Paintings as Sites of Conscience," which will cover several series of her work, including "Ellis Island," "Concentration Camps," "Slave Quarters," and "Prisons and Mental Hospitals."

Carole Shoemaker Swartz, MFA '75, exhibited her paintings and ceramic work in the Sumter Artists' Guild Show at the Sumter Gallery of Art, Sumter, S.C. A large collection of her work can also be seen at the South Carolina Artisan Center in Walterboro, S.C., where she has been a member for several years.

Rachel (Eisenberg) Sultanik, MA '79, exhibited her prints at lenview Mansion Art Gallery, in Rockville, Md., from September 9 through October 7.
