Cahors Steps, acrylic on museum board, Sherry Zvares Sanábria

David Estey, MA '76, and his oil painting Untitled (pink) were included in Maine Home + Design magazine's "60 of Maine's Most Collectible Artists." Husson University in Bangor, Maine, also presented a solo exhibition of his paintings and drawings in February and March. 

Margery E. Goldberg, BA '72, was awarded the Mayor's Arts Award for Excellence in Service to the Arts. The Mayor's Arts Award is the highest honor conferred by the District of Columbia in recognition of artistic excellence and service. Winners were chosen by the Mayor's Arts Awards advisory jury, which includes prominent members of the District's art community.   

Kathy Harmon-Luber, Publications Specialist Cert. '84, exhibited her photography "Laundry: Voyeur" at Café Aroma in Idyllwild, Calif., in June and July. Harmon-Luber was inspired by light shimmering through laundry hanging on a clothesline. 

Sherry Zvares Sanábria, BA '59, is exhibiting her paintings at Art Square in Leesburg, Va. The paintings, titled "French Suite," focus on historical structures in the villages and towns of southwest France. The exhibition opens Sept. 10 and closes Oct. 2.
