Thanksgiving Day. 26x32.

"Thanksgiving day is for us, like most Americans, an important event. The whole family comes to our house for the feast of the year. For many years, Uncle Alec carved the turkey while aunt Bren whipped up the mashed potatoes with the egg beater. Most of it was my wife's production. I usually took out the crystal glassware and set the table. The TV was always on in the kitchen, tuned in to the Macy's Day Parade in New York City. I consider this one of my more successful efforts in the emulation of Vermeer, and one of the most personal, pictorial accounts of our life."
