SMPA Knighted

GW’s School of Media and Public Affairs (SMPA) received a $150,000 grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation to fund Prime Movers, a one-year pilot program pairing veteran journalists with junior colleagues and high school students from diverse communities in the Washington, DC, metro area. The goal of the program is to revitalize student-run news media and create interest in news media careers.
