You Say It’s Your Birthday…
The Order of the Hippo invites you to a celebration Feb. 22 honoring the
birthday of George Washington, father of our nation and namesake of our
University. The party starts at 5:30 pm on the University Yard with the
lighting of a bonfire. Festivities include a pie-eating contest, colonial
music and food (including s’mores, mushy peas, and jacket potatoes),
and other surprises.
The event is open to the entire GW community and alumni. In case of adverse
weather, call the Office of University Events at 994-7129 for more information.
