Living Expenses

The average budget for Graduate Students on the Foggy Bottom campus for the 2010 – 2011 Academic Year (Fall and Spring semesters)  can be found here.

The budget for Distance Education students does not include living expenses. The budget includes tuition, fees, books and supplies.

Health Insurance

The George Washington University offers health insurance through the Student Health Insurance Plan. Students receiving official graduate assistantships will receive $1,000.00 toward the cost of the plan. For more information, please visit or Student Health.
