GW Alternative Breaks, Spring 2012

This year, more than 200 students served in D.C. as well as seven other communities across the U.S., all as a part of GW's Alternative Breaks program. The trips were organized, funded and driven by students, and staffed by the Center for Civic Engagement and Public Service. GW has offered alternative break trips since 2006 and today they are a major part of the university's overall community service efforts.
