Graduate Program Locations
Our campuses provide state-of-the-art facilities and resources for multidisciplinary study, forums, seminars, exhibitions and performances. They are alive with the energy of intellectual exchange among our students, scholars and practitioners.
We are home to two campuses in Washington, D.C. Our main campus in the Foggy Bottom area of Washington, D.C., is home to the University’s signature schools and within blocks of the city’s world-renown institutions. We also offer graduate programs at our Mount Vernon Campus, on Capitol Hill and at other locations throughout the city.
Virginia Science and Technology Campus
GW’s Virginia Science and Technology Campus in Ashburn, VA., is a robust site for innovative research, graduate education and regional corporate partnerships. It hosts laboratories and a dozen centers of excellence.
GW Academic Centers in Virginia
Beyond its main campuses, GW has established several graduate academic centers in Virginia to provide educational opportunities to working professionals near their homes and workplaces.
The George Washington University strategically offers graduate programs at sites in other locations to meet the educational needs of corporations, governments and individuals. Through partnerships with educational systems, nonprofit organizations and government agencies, students pursue graduate study at sites in Maryland, including the Board of Jewish Education in Rockville, the Children’s Guild in Chillum, theNASA Goddard Flight Center in Greenbelt, the Naval Academy in Annapolis and the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center. Programs in educational leadership and administration, designed for working professionals in the K-12 arena, are provided at the Advanced Technology Center in Virginia Beach and in Mechanicsville, Virginia. GW meets the needs of professionals throughout the United States via on-site contract programs with multinational corporations such as SAIC and Lockheed-Martin. Internationally, GW offers graduate programs in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan.
Online learning programs provide flexible access to GW’s acclaimed faculty in select graduate programs. They enable students anywhere to enhance their professional knowledge and expertise and advance their careers.
