GW Resources Columbian Women Scholarship information. The Columbian Women are a group of GW alumnae who offer scholarships to eligible GW students each year. The Cotlow Project. Since 1990, the Lewis B. Cotlow Field Research Fund has supported anthropological exploration around the world by GW students. It was created by a $150,000 bequest from the estate of Lewis Cotlow, an explorer, author, and filmmaker who attended GW. Currently
