The Leadership Conference will address women's issues such as effective
communication and listening skills, negotiating self-worth, and gaining
personal and career opportunities from professional, nonprofit, and
social organizations within the context of Listen, Speak, Act. The
conference celebrates women who have taken leadership roles. By
listening to their strengths we'll find our own action pathway to
leadership.
Held each spring, the Elizabeth Somers Leadership Center and
the Women's Leadership Conference bring together an intergenerational
audience of professional women, many of whom are alumnae, and students
to discuss the personal and professional challenges facing women in the
21st century.
Listen, Speak, Act.
