How are faculty at the Consortium universities in the Washington, DC area utilizing the Internet in their teaching?The purpose of this site is to answer this question. |
The Washington Web serves as the repository of the Proceedings of a symposium held at The George Washington University on February 8th, 1997. This symposium, sponsored by a grant from the Consortium of Washington Area Universities, was entitled "E-Mail, the Web, and MOOs: Developing the Writing Skills of University Students in Cyberspace."
In order to serve as a showcase for Internet activities carried out by faculty in Consortium universities in the Washington, DC area, we need input. If you or anyone you know in a Consortium university is using the Internet in exciting and productive ways, please contact Christine Meloni or Laurie Miller.
