Connection Fair Fall 2009
ResNet The school year and the Connection Fair are now here! Visit STS in the Marvin Center Continental Ballroom, on the 3rd Floor, August 28th through 30th, 10 am to 5 pm, to pickup your ResNet Equipment. Laptop support will also be available from 10 am to 4 pm daily. Click the following link for full details: Complete Connection Fair Information. Instruction Sheets 2: Assembling Your LRE Modem and Ethernet Hub 3: LC Media Converter Connection Instructions 4: VF45 Media Converter Connection Instructions 5: Cisco Clean Access (CCA) Login Instructions Cable Television Issues STS will address any reported problems with Cable TV beginning the 3rd week of September. Students are welcome to call 202-994-5530 on Thursday, September 10th to schedule cable television appointments starting Monday, September 14th. Gelman Wireless Support Area The Gelman Wireless Support Area will be available starting Tuesday, September 8th. The hours are Monday - Thursday from 5pm - 10pm, and Sunday from 2pm - 8pm. Hotline Hours Monday, September 7th: STS hotline hours will remain 7am - 10pm. Laptop Issues Friday, August 28th: Students having any laptop issues, may visit STS in the Marvin Center Continental Ballroom between the hours of 10 am to 5 pm. Note: You must arrive by 4pm. Network Jack Problems If you're a student experiencing a jack issue that we are unable to resolve over the phone during initial troubleshooting, you may call back on Monday, August 31st to schedule an appointment with Student Technology Services (STS). STS is not scheduling any in-room appointments during the Connection Fair. However, if you can document the jack issue with a picture, i.e. it's hanging off the wall, you can optionally take a picture of it and e-mail it to STS at sts@gwu.edu. ResNet Equipment Pickup and Issues Friday, August 28th: Students having any equipment issues may visit STS in the Marvin Center Continental Ballroom between the hours of 10 am to 5 pm. You may also pickup your ResNet Equipment. Walk-in Hours STS walk-in hours will remain 9am - 7pm for the first week of September. STS will return to 9am - 5pm on Monday, September 7th. |
