The 5th International Vietnamese Youth Conference
January 4-6, 2008
Every two years, Vietnamese Youth from around the world to explore and discuss the issues facing both Vietnamese abroad and the problems that affect Vietnam itself. This year's conference is entitled, "Building Civil Society in Vietnam: Grassroots Efforts for Democracy." The conference is scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur. AA LEAD- Positions open for College Coach/Homework Facilitator
Founded in 1998, Asian American LEAD (AALEAD) seeks to promote the well-being of Asian American youth and families through education, leadership development, and community-building. We focus on the Vietnamese, Amerasian, and Chinese immigrant and refugee communities in the Mt. Pleasant, Columbia Heights, and Shaw neighborhoods of Washington, DC and in the Glenmont, Silver Spring and Wheaton areas of Montgomery County, Maryland.
