What to Take?

Freshman Honors students take two year long proseminars:

  • Origins and Evolution of Modern Thought

  • Scientific Reasoning and Discovery

Students who entered the Program as sophomores:

  • Enlightenment East & West (Listed under Origins; Fall only)

Between their second and fourth years students take two sections of each:

  • Self and Society

  • Arts and Humanities

Junior and senior year students will:

  • Participate in the honors capstone experience (Senior year)

  • Pursue special honors in their major or complete an otherwise approved honors thesis

Other opportunities for all Honors students:

  • 5700-Series

  • Special and Introductory Courses
