School Supply Drive

Help out middle school students hit by Hurricane Ike. The University Honors Program is collecting school supplies to send to UHP alum and Teach for America participant Natalie Lund's 6th and 7th graders in Houston, TX. Book donations are welcome – think Holes, Bridge to Terabithia, Outsiders, and other things you read at that age. Also, please consider donations of reams of 8.5x11 paper, colored card stock paper, Kleenex boxes, manila folders, note cards, post-its, glue sticks, markers, other office supplies like staplers, tape, or 3 hole punchers. Email uhp@gwu.edu for more info.

Stay cool.

It's summer time -- that means CI, freshman registration, and lots of sun. Enjoy it! Classes will be starting up again soon.

Your honors advisors have now made it even easier for you to get in touch with them. Jordana Cole has created a screenname on AIM specifically to enable honors students to communicate with her. Have a pressing question or just want to say hello? Add GWHonorsAdvisr to your buddy list and feel free to IM Jordana at anytime.
