Admission to the Honors Program is highly competitive. Most applicants are ranked in the top 5 to 10 percent of their high school class, but becoming an Honors student requires more than high grades and test scores. Honors students must demonstrate the intellectual curiosity and desire to engage with professors and challenge themselves intellectually.
The Honors Program promotes creativity and intellectual independence. Our faculty are looking for self-motivated, articulate students. Honors students can be members of any of the undergraduate schools at George Washington University.
