About

GWU MFA Dance

Fieldwork, directed independent study, and rigorous seminar work are at the core of this innovative 18-month program. Program highlights:

  • an initial 8-week residency component
  • two semesters of closely supervised distance education
  • a blended/hybrid summer component combining distance learning
  • one-week residency and one semester of distance learning consisting of supervised work on a thesis portfolio.
