Furniture Reuse Program

Welcome to the furniture reuse program. Materials Management, within the Procurement Department, manages the furniture reuse program at an off-site facility located at 3301 Pennsy Drive, Landover, Maryland. The majority of the used furniture generally consists of office desks and chairs but can vary throughout the year. For additional information about item availability or to schedule a visit, contact Lenny Conley at 202-994-7202 or lconley@gwu.edu. Please be aware that this is an unmanned facility.

Reusing furniture is a win-win situation. It is a great way to save your department money while reducing the environmental impact by minimizing production costs and packing materials.

Please follow the outlined steps below to begin the process of aquiring your "new-to-you" items!

  • 1. Contact Lenny Conley at 202-994-7202 for additional information about item availability or to schedule a visit to the off-site warehouse located at 3301 Pennsy Drive, Landover MD.
  • 2. To have the surplus item(s) transferred from the off-site warehouse; departments need to complete a Facilities Services FIXit Request on-line at http://facilities.gwu.edu. Please note that a departmental transportation charge-back may apply.
