With partial support from the Army Research Office, this Symposium is being hosted by the Institute for Reliability and Risk Analysis (IRRA) in the Department of Statistics, the George Washington University. Our objective is to emphasize the potential contributions of synergistic role of these disciplines to other areas such as biological, physical, environmental, and social sciences. This year's symposium will focus on the contributions of probability and statistics to reliability and performance of complex systems, vision, linguistics, finance, and representation and management of uncertainty.

Directions and Parking: Foggy Bottom/GWU metro stop is located on the Orange/Blue lines. Elliott School is a 10 minute walk from the Foggy Bottom Metro Station. A visitor's parking garage is located on 1957 E Street.
