Financial aid for Summer Sessions is limited to federal student loans (Stafford and PLUS) and other non-federal loan programs. In general, students must attend at least half-time in degree programs to be eligible. Students are urged to contact the Office of Student Financial Assistance, Marvin Center Ground Floor (Colonial Central), 800 21st Street NW, as early as possible to learn about loans and application procedures. Tuition must be paid in full by the first day of the first Summer Session (May 17, 2010). Billing is conducted by the GW Student Accounts Office, Marvin Center Ground Floor (Colonial Central), 800 21st Street NW, 202-994-9000. Courses dropped BEFORE the first day of Summer Session classes will have 100% of tuition charges canceled. In cases of authorized withdrawals, courses dropped May 17 through May 23 for the first summer session or July 7 through July 13 for the second summer session will have 85% of tuition and fees refunded. No refund will be made for courses dropped thereafter. |
