PROGRAM
Attend the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, China. Learn about the organizational infrastructure, management, integrated marketing, and socio-economic impact of the Games by going behind-the-scenes and meeting Olympic and governmental officials, administrators, corporate sponsors, volunteers, and athletes. Students will also conduct on-site market research. This is a graduate level course and first priority for registration goes to those studying sports and event management. Undergraduate students may be admitted at the discretion of the professor. Please click here to view the syllabus.
COSTS
The cost of the program is estimated at $4,223 for three credits tuition, study abroad insurance, lodging, in-country transportation, group meals, and group cultural events. International airfare and personal expenses are not included.
