AMBA International Residency in Chile

PROGRAM
The AMBA Chile program provides a short immersion to the Chilean business environment and understanding of Chile’s macroeconomic policies and success in sustainable economic growth and study strategies of firms in a variety of sectors. A related goal of the program is to introduce participants to Chile’s culture and business etiquette as well as basic skills of functioning in a foreign business environment. The program consists of a two pre-departure sessions and a week-long program of visits to governmental institutions, multinational and local firms in Santiago and filed trips to key agricultural and mining clusters in the central valley. COSTS
The cost of the program is estimated at $3,613 for three credits tuition, study abroad insurance, and a University of Chile enrollment fee. International airfare and personal expenses are not included. The professor estimates other out-of-pocket expenses could be around $758.

Students need to contact the professor of the course directly, and then complete the online application. Applications are due by FEBRUARY 29, 2008. A nonrefundable fee will apply to students who withdraw after the registration deadline.
