Dining

Dining options at Summer Scholars abound and there are food choices to suit a variety of dietary preferences. Students eat their meals in Ames Dining Hall at the Mount Vernon campus. Three meals per day are included for residential mini-course participants. Students in the 6-week residential program are provided with breakfast and dinner on weekdays. Lunches and weekend meal options are plentiful; students may order in, dine out, or use the residential kitchen facility to prepare their own meals. A supermarket and several eateries are within walking distance of Mount Vernon. The Foggy Bottom campus also offers many easy dining alternatives, * including "J-Street," the dining court at the Marvin Center, GW's student union.

*Note: Only 6-Week students are allowed to leave the Mount Vernon campus unaccompanied.
