  • Prior to program start date: 100% refund of balance
  • First week of program: 70% refund of balance
  • After first week: No refunds

NOTE: Students who are dismissed from the program forfeit the right to a refund.

Scholarships & Financial Aid

Limited, need-based assistance is available to eligible domestic students in the 6-week program. Financial awards are partial awards, and are based on demonstrated financial need, as determined by information provided on the Summer Scholars Financial Aid Application. A copy of the most recent IRS 1040 tax form is also required. Requests for scholarship or need-based assistance must accompany the application, and must be received no later than April 15th. Awards are made on a first-servedand funding-available basis only. An early application is encouraged. The Financial Aid application may be downloaded from the website or is available upon request.

An additional financial aid opportunity exists in the form of The Einstein Scholarship. This is a partial merit award to be applied toward program tuition for the selected candidate for the Einstein Summer Research opportunity. It cannot be used in conjunction with need-based awards.
