6-Week Program Elective Course (chosen from list of course options)

In addition to the Writing Seminar for Summer Scholars, an introductory course is taken with undergraduate students at the Foggy Bottom campus. Course options include a variety of disciplines. Classes average between 20 and 25 students in the summer, facilitating focused interaction and intellectual engagement. Every effort is made to place each student in his or her first choice, assuming that space is available, and that the student has satisfied departmental and course requirements. In addition to earned credit, students receive a grade, establishing an official GW academic record. Course credits are typically transferable between institutions. Questions concerning the transferability of GW course credit should be directed to the receiving institution.
