Background
Glenn has taught government and politics as a assistant professor with American University since 2003. He was a visiting assistant professor of politics and government at The University of Puget Sound between 2000 and 2002 where he taught courses in political theory, American politics, contemporary political thought, ancient political thought, and modern political thought. Glenn was a lecturer in political science at The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and an instructor in political science at Loyola University of Chicago.

Glenn served as a reviewer for Routledge Press, "Journal of Politics" and "Review of Politics.".
