The Program

The day-long event is hosted by the George Washington University’s Institute for Public Diplomacy and Global Communication in partnership with the Walter Roberts Endowment, the Carnegie Corporation and the Kennan Institute.  Confirmed panelists include historian Sergei Khrushchev—son of Nikita Khrushchev; Professor Nina Khrushcheva - grandaughter of Nikita Khrushchev; William Safire - New York Times columnist and former Richard Nixon speech writer who was present at the Kitchen debate; Clay Shirky, the author of Here Comes Everybody; along with other leading voices in media, government, academia and in the cutting edge of new media and social networking.

Registration is required.
