All the Russian Cyrillic in Golosa pages uses fonts that adhere to Code
Page 1251, otherwise known as Windows Cyrillic. To get these fonts,
pick the desciption that fits you best:
- Windows 98 and ME. To display Cyrillic,
go to Control Panel => Add/Remove Programs => Windows Setup. Make sure
that Multilanguage Supprt is checked. To type Cyrillic, go to Control
Panel => Keyboard => Language, and add Russian. The keyboard you get
is that used in Russia. If you would rather have a homophonic keyboard (Russian
A on the A key, not on the F key), see Paul
Gorodyansky's site.
- Windows NT and XP. To display Cyrillic,
Open Start => Settings => Control Panel and then open Regional Options. Scroll
through the list and look for Cyrillic. You will be prompted to insert your
Windows CD to finish the job. (You must have administrator rights and the
CD to Cyrillicize the computer. To type Cyrillic, click on to the "Input
Locales" tab of the Regional Options panel. Click "Add..." to install an available
input locale. The keyboard you get is that used in Russia. If you would rather
