Program Planning Committee Minutes
June 25, 2005

Present: Inna Gudanets (Stanford), Michael Brewer (Arizona), Diana Brooking (Washington), Jackie Byrd (Indiana), Jean Dickinson (Hoover), Sandra Levy (Chicago), Terri Miller (Michigan State), Dan Pennell (Pittsburgh), Janice Pilch (Illinois), Andy Spencer (Wisconsin), Lydia Wasylenko (Syracuse), Gwido Zlatkes (Harvard)

• The minutes of the Boston Midwinter Conference meeting in 2005 were approved as submitted.

• Janice Pilch reported that everything was in order for the program planned for Monday, June 27th, "Digitizing Medieval Manuscripts: East & West." SEES and WESS co-sponsored the program. Janice and Chair Inna Gudanets worked with Heather Ward from WESS on the final details for the program. Steve Corrsin volunteered to handle the evaluations. SEES and WESS both contributed from their budgets to support the program costs.

• There are no plans for a program at the 2006 Annual Conference, and the deadline for submitting a proposal has passed. It is not, however, too early for discussions for a 2007 program. The option of posting an email on the Slavlib listserv asking for ideas for topics was discussed.
