Running Shoes: FLEET FEET - Phil Fenty's advice on running shoes.
1. Replace your running shoes in a timely manner. 350 miles is the standard. This includes running, walking, standing, eliptical machines, stairmaster. Every time you put on your shoes they compress. Mark the date that you buy your shoes on the white part of the shoe so you can trace the useages.
2. If shoes get wet, dry them slowly. Stuff them with old newspapers or tee shirts. No ovens, radiators or microwaves. Even after a long run it helps to take out the insoles, loosen the laces and allow the air to circulate through the shoes.
