Visiting Scholars 2008-2009
During the 2008-2009 academic year several visiting scholars from Europe and Asia are associated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Arjan Qefalia and is from Albania. Melika Husic and Meldina Kokorovic are from Bosnia-Hercegovina. Yi Liu was from Chia. Wafaa Darwish was from Egypt. Patrizia Ameli is from Italy. Akira Ohashi is from Japan. Kujtim Rrahmani is from Kossovo. Aleksander Naumoski and Melina Ristovska are from Macedonia. Some group photos were taken during the year. Some papers and abstracts were prepared during the year

Visiting Scholars 2007-2008
During the 2007-2008 academic year several visiting scholars from Southeast Europe and the Caucasus are associated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Bilal Draci, Loran Gami and Sidita Dibra are from Albania, Nikola Levkov is from Macedonia. Akmal Abdurazakov Abdujabborovich is from Uzbekistan, Sladjana Benkovic is from Serbia, Asset Nussupov is from Kazakhstan and Khagani Abdullayev is from Azerbaijan. Some group photos were taken during the year. Some papers and abstracts were prepared during the year.

Visiting Scholars 2006-2007
During the 2006-2007 academic year several visiting scholars from Southeast Europe, the Caucasus, Ukraine, Belarus, Central Asia and China were associated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Linda Ihsani and Eralda Methasani Cani were from Albania, Katerina Tosevska and Tanja Milosevska were from Macedonia. Arben Dermaku was from Kosovo. Anka Gardasevic was from Montenegro. Oleksiy Gorovyy was from Ukraine. Sergey Kirpich was from Belarus. Armenuhi Khachatryan and Gor Khachatryan were from Armenia. Tinatin Tchintcharauli was from Georgia. Bakhodir Akhmedov was from Uzbekistan, Aida Sagintayeva was from Kazakhstan, Makhinur Mamatova was from Kyrgyzstan. Ramazon Nazariev was from Tajikistan. ChunWu Lai was from China. Visiting Scholars 2005-2006
During the 2005-2006 academic year several visiting scholars were associated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Two of them were from Macedonia (Gabriela Rakicevik and Dragan Tevdovski). Two were from Georgia (Nino Jgamadze and Lali Pertenava). Two were from Croatia (Lara Jelenc and Nives Mikelic). Dilmurod Rasulev and Nasrutdin Dilmurodov were from Uzbekistan. Visar Rrustemi  was from Prishtina, Kosovo. Zhelyu Vladimirov was from Sofia, Bulgaria, and Irida Vorpsi  was from Tirana, Albania. Some group photos were taken during the year. Several papers and abstracts were prepared during the year.

Visiting Scholars 2004-2005

During the 2004-2005 academic year seventeen visiting scholars were associated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Four were from Ukraine (Bogdan Kryvolapov, Myroslava Mushkevych, Viktoria Sukovata, Yuriy Yuriychuk). Three were from Russia (Igor Dubina, Konstantin Mekhonoshin, Roman Cheskidov). Two were from Uzbekistan (Otabek Hasanov, Khaydarali Yunusov). Two were from Albania (Sonila Turshilla Vathi, Elvana Cela). Two were from Serbia and Montenegro (Marko Davinic, Maja Drakic). One was from Georgia (David Abesadze) and one was from Kyrgyzstan (Viktoria Mironova). They were part of the U.S. Department of State's Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP). In addition Stefania Mariano was a visiting scholar from Italy. Yamashiro Hideichi was a visiting professor from Japan. Some group photos were taken during the year. Several papers and abstracts were prepared.

Visiting Scholars 2003-2004
During the 2003-2004 academic year thirteen visiting scholars were associated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Three were from Russia (Olga Bondarenko, Luiza Gazizova, Sergey Kremen). Two were from Ukraine (Svitlana Burdina and Yaroslav Prytula). One was from Azerbaijan (Mushfiq Tahirov). Four were from Serbia (Zoran Bogetic, Ana Jolovic, Sasha Obradovic and Dragana Cimesa). Two were from Montenegro (Filip Turcinovic and Andriela Vitic). They were part of the U.S. Department of State's Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP). In addition Andreas Huber Paredi was a visiting scholar from Switzerland during the Fall Semester. Laryssa Zolotareva and Vladimir Prozorov returned to GWU as Fulbright Scholars. Some group photos were taken during the year. Several papers and abstracts were prepared.

Visiting Scholars 2002-2003
During the 2002-2003 academic year, fourteen visiting scholars were associated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Five were from Ukraine (Vasyl Nepyivoda, Svitlana Shandruk, Yuriy Stankevych, Laryssa Shynkarenko, Olena Yemets). Three were from Russia (Olga Chistyakova , Dmitriy Galkin, Erzhen Khilkhanova).  Two were from Uzbekistan (Alisher Abidjanov, Farida Alimova). One was from Turkmenistan (Natalya Mamedova). They were part of the U.S. Department of State's Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP). Two scholars, Gulmira Asanbaeva from Kyrgyzstan and Zhanar Rakhimzhanova from Kazakstan, were part of a different government program.  Kamen Lozev, a philosopher from Bulgaria, was a Fulbright Scholar associated with the GWU Institute for Knowledge Management. In addition David Campbell was a visiting professor from Austria. He taught a course on R&D policy for the Elliott School of International Affairs during the fall semester. Visiting Scholars 2001-2002
During the 2001-2002 academic year, ten visiting scholars were associated with the Research  Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Seven were from Russia (Olga Feditcheva, Konstantin Lioubimov, Vladimir Motov, Maria Romanova, Tatiana Sedach, Elena Spinova, Lilia Timofeeva). Two were from Ukraine (Andriy Ilyuk, Bohdan Shumylovych). One was from Uzbekistan (Rozmat Ashurbekov). One was from Armenia (Aram Karapetyan). They were part of the US Department of State's Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP). Nadejda Angelska from Bulgaria also was associated with the Research Program. She was in Washington under the Central and Eastern Europe Scholarship Program. Some Group photos were taken during the year. Several papers and abstracts were prepared.

Visiting Scholars 2000-2001
During the 2000-2001 academic year, fourteen visiting scholars were associated with the Research  Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Five were from Russia (Irina Boldonova, Nadezhda Krylova, Irina Naoumova, Natalia Prokopishina, Natalia Totskaya). Three were from Ukraine (Oleksandr Melnychenko, Yuliya Melnyk, Volodymyr Kochura), two were from Armenia (Rafayel Seyranyan and Naira Matevosyan), one each was from Croatia (Borna Bebek), Kazakstan (Saule Ussembayeva), Uzbekistan (Madina Ibadova), and Georgia (Nino Okribelashvili). Ten were part of the US Department of State's Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP). Two were "regional scholars" and two were Fulbright Scholars. Some group photos were taken during the year. Several papers and abstracts were prepared.
