Visiting Scholars 1999-2000
During the 1999-2000 academic year, nine visiting scholars were associated with the
Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Seven were from Russia (Alla Antipina, Nikolai Chpanov, Elena Emelyanova, Vladimir Pozdniakov, Vladimir Prozorov, Igor Semenov, Olga Yakovleva). Two were
from Ukraine (Oleg Britchka, Svitlana Kominko). All
were part of the US
Department of State's Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP). Some group photos were taken
during the year. Several papers and abstracts were prepared.
Visiting Scholars 1998-1999
During the 1998-1999 academic year, eight visiting scholars were associated with the
Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Five were from Russia (Valentin Gorlov, Oksana Kravchenko, Svetlana Liapina, Oksana Prokhvacheva, Larissa Zolotareva). Two
were from Ukraine (Larysa Pashis, Serhyj Zanjuk). One was
from Germany (Thomas Doering).
Seven were part of the US
Department of State's Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP). The scholar
from Germany was not part of a US government program. A group photo was taken during
the year. Several papers and abstracts were prepared.
Visiting Scholars 1996-1997
During the 1996-1997 academic year, ten visiting scholars were associated with the
Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Four were from Russia (Vera Goushchina, Ekaterina Kuznetsova, Sergei Pshenitsyn, Natalia Salikova). Two were
from Ukraine (Halyna Malyk, Nina Saniakhmetova). Two were
from Kazakhstan (Anna Bazarova, Leonid Karp). One was from
Azerbaijan (Enver Safarzade),
and one was from Austria (Renate
Martinsen). Six were part of the US Department of State's Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP). Three were regional scholars supported by USIA
through the American Council for Teachers of Russian (ACTR). The scholar from Austria was
not part of a US government program. Some group photos were taken
during the year. Several papers and abstracts were prepared.
Visiting Scholars 1995-1996
During the 1995-1996 academic year, eight visiting scholars were associated with the
Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Four were from Russia (Natalia Gerasimenko, Sergei S. Kichev, Oleg Krasheninnikov, Natasha Kryukova) and were
part of the Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP), administered by the Council for the
International Exchange of Scholars and funded by the US Department of State's Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP). Three regional scholars were at GW for part of
the Spring 1996 semester (Alphiya
Annaniyazova, Natalia
Guseva, Tatyana Medvedeva).
Their stay was arranged by the American Council for Teachers of Russian (ACTR). Michael Flaschka, from St.
Gallen, Switzerland, was on campus during the Spring 1996 semester. A group photo was taken in the
Spring of 1996. Several papers and abstracts were prepared.
Visiting Scholars 1994-1995
During the 1994-1995 academic year, six visiting research professors were associated with
the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. They were all from Russia.
Five were part of the US
Department of State's Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP) (Irina Alyoshina, Marina Ignatskaya, Pavel Makeyenko, Olga Oyner, Marina Shakalova). One was a
regional scholar supported by a government program administered by the American Council of
Teachers of Russian (ACTR) (Irina
Tkachenko). Some group photos were taken in the Spring of 1995. Several papers and abstracts were prepared.
