Abstract

One way of thinking about the evolution of thought about thought is to consider the history of mathematics, since mathematics is a language used in nearly all disciplines. The emphasis will be on mathematics useful for the modelling of complex systems.
 

Biography

John N. Warfield is professor emeritus at George Mason University and director of the GMU Institute for Advanced Study in the Integrative Sciences.
