 On March 28, 2004 Washington, D.C. celebrated its annual Cherry Blossom Festival. Although the weather left much to be desired, the festival carried on with a fresh scent of coming spring. Here is a short (40 sec.) video of the blossoming Sakura trees provided by Sergei Kremen. You may also find plenty of the festival pictures that he made on his personal page.
