Abstract
Currently scholars notice signs of a new information society based on a new type of social communication which patterns its development on the multidimensional development of man. The new society will likely differ from the previous one principally by the type of social communication. This paper describes the logic of a historic process of social development based on a trend toward larger social groups, more organized societies, less violence, more formal education, and more rapid communication.
