Vendor Assessments

In an effort to reduce the risks to which the University population is exposed, the ORM has completed multidirectional risk assessments of campus activities. Specifically the high-risk carnival-style vendors that frequently provide entertainment services to student organizations and high-risk motor carrier vendors that provide charter bus services. Such venues could present a significant liability risk to the University if not subjected to proper risk treatment.

ORM established requirements aimed at reducing the liability risk associated with these venues. As part of this risk treatment, Risk Management contacted frequently utilized vendors and requested verification of established maintenance, training, certification, and repair practices. In addition, verification of General Liability, Automobile Liability and Workers Compensation insurance was requested of each of the vendors. As appropriate, new vendors will be reviewed and added to the list once all qualifications are met. The links below include the most up-to-date approved vendors for each category.
