insurance and claims management

The Office of Risk Management is responsible for actively identifying and analyzing potential areas of risk at the University. We also make recommendations as to those risks which are to be insured, and those that are to be self-insured or assumed, and we recommend the types and amounts of coverage to protect the University's resources. The Office of Risk Management has been delegated the overall responsibility for the procurement and administration of all property and casualty coverage's for the University. Additionally, the ORM coordinates policy administration and will respond to all questions related to insurance matters and coverage needs.

Clinical Risk Management If you have questions regarding the University's clinical risk management program.
Contract Insurance If you have questions regarding indemnification and insurance requirements for vendors and service providers.
Insurance & Claims Management

If you have general questions regarding the University's insurance and claims processes.

International Travel Insurance and Assistance If you are traveling on behalf of the University and need to register your trip for insurance coverage and travel assistance services.
Laptop Computer Theft If you have questions regarding the University's laptop theft policies and procedures.
Motor Vehicle Operators If you want to become a University-certified driver.
Resident Personal Property Claims and Rental Insurance If you are a resident of any University building and have questions regarding rental insurance.
Surety Bonds If you have questions regarding the procurement of surety bonds.
Tenant User's Liability Insurance Policy (TULIP) If you are planning to use the University's facilities and do not have or carry the required Liability insurance.
Vendor Assessment If you are contracting a transporation or entertainment vendor.
Workers' Compensation If you have specific questions regarding workers comp.
