To insure both the safety and well being of the GW community, it is also critical that actions are taken to mitigate the effects of the incident and that normalcy is restored as quickly as possible to all aspects of university life and operations.
As such, this manual includes guidance concerning:

  • Preparations for incidents,
  • Response to them, and
  • Timely recovery from them.
