NSF MRI RECOVERY INFORMATION

The National Science Foundation released the Major Research Instrumentation Recovery and Reinvestment Program, with $200 million available for 400 awards. There are some items included in this RFA that differ from the competition held this past winter:

  • Like the regular competition, each institution can submit up to three proposals. If three are submitted, one must be for instrument development.
  • Proposals that wholly or substantially duplicate those that were accepted for review under NSF-09-502 will not be accepted under this competition.
  • Proposals can request between $100,000-$6 million.

Because the NSF has set this proposal limitation, we ask that you let your colleagues  in your department know of this opportunity and ask them to fill out the attached application and send it to alwalker@gwu.edu by close of business, Friday June 12th. (Faculty who do not fill out this application will not be considered.)
