The Advisory Council on Research

The Advisory Council on Research is composed of faculty members and administrative representatives appointed each academic year by the Office of the Chief Research Officer, in consultation with the Deans. The ACR is the main research advisory group to the Chief Research Officer. The Council also collaborates with the Faculty Senate Committee on Research. The ACR administers the Research Enhancement Fund and is responsible for chartering and rechartering GW-affiliated centers and institutes, as well as for developing long-term planning strategies and for improving GW research policies.
