Bachelor of Arts
The B.A. in Psychology includes introductory and advanced coursework in the areas of biological, cognitive, social, and developmental psychology. In addition, students receive training in research design and statistical methods. There are several options for electives and independent study so that students can tailor the major to their interests.
The specific course requirements for the Psychology major are available in the Psychology Department Requirements for Undergraduates, which can be used in conjunction with the Major Requirements Checklist to help students plan a course of study. These forms are available in the lobby of the Psychology Department.
Students majoring in Psychology must also complete the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences General Curriculum Requirements.
