Background
I am a first year Ph.D. student with an interest in democratic development in the Middle East and consociational governance in Lebanon. I currently work at the Department of State and have recently returned from a year in Iraq on a Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT). Prior to joining the State Department, I worked for UNHCR in Amman, Jordan and Democratic Dialogue in Belfast, N. Ireland.
