Background
Professor Jung teaches civil wars and post-civil war politics, comparative political institutions, and Korean politics. His main research project examines how political institutions shape the reconciliation process and outcome in countries emerging from violent civil conflicts. His other research interests include constitutional arrangements in new democracies and inter-Korean relations. His work has appeared in the European Journal of Political Research, Mobilization, and elsewhere.
