        Examination of selected topics in the literature on the fostering and maintenance of peace and the resolution
        of conflict. Sophomore or higher standing recommended. A previous course related to war or peacemaking
        is recommended. See the description of the PSTD Minor in the GWU University Bulletin for examples, or
        see the instructor.

      PSTD 701 Section MV Peace Studies Seminar

        Note: This course is currently scheduled to be taught at the Mt. Vernon College Campus

        The concepts, issues, methodologies and policies concerning the fostering and maintenance of peace are
        explored via participation in the GWU Peace Studies Seminar Series and other related events both at
        GWU and in the Washington, DC area. Students wishing to use the GWU Peace Studies Seminar Series as
        the basis of a 3-credit course should register for PSTD 190, Peace Studies Project.
